… We'll usually do dinner before the shows, too - if a dinner is scheduled, I strongly encourage you to attend, as it's difficult to really meet your fellow group members before a show or during intermission. I will usually require payment to RSVP to ensure that I'm giving the theater an accurate headcount. This is a necessity as, unfortunately, Meetup is notorious for no-shows. My Refund Policy is firm. Drive-in movie theaters are pretty much a thing of the past and honestly, were they still readily available, who could afford to go one any more? Join us to enjoy movies in our best attempt at a sustitute for the drive-in. We'll host movies throughout the year when the weather will allow. Sometimes we'll combine movies with a BBQ or other activity as well. (Some of our titles are kid-friendly, some are not. Please be sure to read Meetup calendar details for each date.)

This meetup is for people who appreciate cultural events. This includes classical music, theater, opera and ballet. We focus on group rates, finding good prices and making friendships. From symphonies to the DCPA operas and ballets, to many smaller venues in the Metro area.
